CFO - Chief Financial Officer
New London’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for maintaining the financial health and cash flow of the pharmacy. The CFO is accountable for all financial documentation, banking, payment of wholesalers and vendors, review of income and expenses, budgeting, and the overall management of funds. As an integral part of our pharmacy’s operation the CFO sets up and maintains all automated accounting, practice management and electronic prescription record systems, including the pharmacy’s insurance billing system. The CFO also prepares budgets and periodic analysis of budget performance and other related internal and external financial reports (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial payers). As a leader and board member of New London Specialty Pharmacy, the CFO participates in quarterly meetings, complies with pharmacy’s policies and procedures and remains current with standards of primary health care practices.
